This year, the Hoffmann Group is a 3-time winner of the coveted German Design Award. The GARANT EasyFix modular arrangement system, the GARANT torque wrench with digital display and the GARANT electronic torque wrench with digital gauge all scooped the as “Winner” in the ‘Workshop and Tools’ category.

All three products impressed the jury with their intelligently conceived, functional and aesthetically pleasing design. More than 4,000 participants with products and projects from 50 different countries took part in the competition in the areas of product and communication design.

The GARANT EasyFix modular arrangement system can be adjusted to individual needs. Its hooks and holders can be attached to GARANT perforated panels, GARANT ladders and GARANT worktops quickly and without the need for any tools, which makes the system extremely flexible. All components have been precisely matched with one another to achieve maximum convenience and visual clarity when the parts are arranged. The German Design Award jury was particularly impressed by the technical implementation and high variability.

The GARANT 65 6650 mechanical torque wrench with digital display combines intuitive handling and an authentic, modern design offering the highest possible quality and utility. It is clearly divided into two functional zones, the handle and the display. The required torque is set manually with a setting wheel; the value is shown digitally on the display. This means that users can read off the values precisely, and in addition, they get an excellent value for money.

The GARANT 65 5550 electronic torque wrench with digital gauge represents a perfect fusion of state-of-the-art engineering with contemporary design. It displays the current value both on a gauge and as a digital number, and saves the last peak value until the next reset. It also warns users against exceeding the maximum value by means of an audible signal, thus ensuring added safety. Its ergonomic handle, reversible ratchet with ejector, one-button operation and large display make it a true masterpiece.

The German Design Award is bestowed by the German Design Council, the expert for brands and design in Germany. The Council was established as a foundation in 1953 on the initiative of the German Bundestag (German national parliament), and ever since then it has supported the industry in consistently generating added brand value through design. As a result, the German Design Council is one of the world’s leading centres of expertise for communication and brand management in the field of design. In addition to trade associations and institutions, the exclusive network of foundation members also includes brand directors from renowned companies.
